Job description

Equans is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Darlington Magistrates Court, Parkgate, Darlington, DL1 1RU multiple sites on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a annual salary of £27.500 and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

What will you deliver?

As a Facilities Supervisor/Cleaning supervisor you will be responsible for supervising our cleaning teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and customer service is maintained across our large-scale government contract. You will also be the first point of contact on Management of Waste, Pest Control and Landscaping Services.

This will be a mobile role covering multiple sites. A company vehicle will be provided therefore a full clean driving licence (valid within the UK) is essential.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Who are we looking for?

1. Experience of Industry/public services (essential)
2. Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential)
3. COSHH Knowledge
4. Understand basic Health and safety principles
5. Ability to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent specified standard of cleaning
6. Good communication and customer care skills
7. Team Player demonstrating a proactive approach
8. Basic knowledge on I.T and Microsoft office systems
