Job summary

Samsic UK in Handsworth, Birmingham is seeking a Permanent Part Time School Cleaning Supervisor to deliver professional facilities management and oversee a team of cleaners during a 2pm–6pm, Monday to Friday shift.

The role requires an enhanced UK DBS check and safeguarding checks; training provided; you will manage timesheets, stock, and ensure high cleaning standards, with on-site parking and provided PPE.

Qualifications

• Overseeing and supervising cleaning operatives.
• Health and safety conscious in workplace.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts when staff are on leave.
• Cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise a team of cleaning operatives.
• Complete timesheets and order stock.
• Monitor cleaning standards and complete necessary documentation (Return to Works, Near Misses).
• Clean sanitary areas, empty bins, mop, use floor cleaning machinery and disinfect touchpoints.

Job description

Samsic UK is recruiting for a Permanent Part Time School CleaningSupervisor to provide a professional facilities management service based inHandsworth, Birmingham.

The position is to work Monday to Friday2pm-6pm.

As per the necessities of this position, all successful applicants will require a UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) check to be conducted. By applying to this position, you acknowledge that this is a requirement of the job role.

Due to Safeguarding legislation KCSIE 2025 we will also need to undertake further online checks and seeking previous employee references in writing.

£14.03 per hour paid Monthly unless specified otherwise.

Duties include but are not limited to, overseeing and supervising a team of cleaning operatives and you will be responsible for completing timesheets, ordering stock, monitoring cleaning standards and completing any necessary documentation such as Return to Works, Near Misses etc.

You will have your own area of responsibility/duties which will be cleaning sanitary areas, emptying bins, mopping, using floor cleaning machinery, disinfecting touch points, restocking soap/hand towels, and general cleaning.
