Samsic UK is hiring a Permanent Part Time School Cleaning Operative based in Handsworth, Birmingham. The role runs Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6pm. A UK Enhanced DBS check is required, along with safeguarding online checks and references.

You will be paid £13.03 per hour, with monthly pay. Duties include cleaning sanitary areas, emptying bins, mopping, disinfecting touchpoints, restocking supplies, and general cleaning. Free onsite parking is available.

Job description

Samsic UK is recruiting for a Permanent Part Time School Cleaning Operative to provide a professional facilities management service based inHandsworth, Birmingham.

The position is to work Monday to Friday4pm-6pm.

As per the necessities of this position, all successful applicants will require a UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) check to be conducted. By applying to this position, you acknowledge that this is a requirement of the job role.

Due to Safeguarding legislation KCSIE 2025 we will also need to undertake further online checks and seeking previous employee references in writing.

You will receive £13.03 per hour paid Monthly unless specified otherwise.

Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sanitary areas, emptying bins, mopping, disinfecting touch points, restocking soap/hand towels, and general cleaning.

About you

• You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service. You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
• Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.

The interview process will be a telephone conversation with one of our managers, and then a face-to-face interview for those selected. Dependent on having legitimate right to work in the UK and passing allvetting KCSIE 2025.
