Samsic UK is recruiting for a Permanent Part Time School Cleaning Operative to provide a professional facilities management service based in Handsworth, Birmingham. The role runs Monday to Friday, 4pm to 6pm, with a pay rate of £13.03 per hour, paid monthly.

DBS (Enhanced) checks and safeguarding verifications are required, and training and PPE are provided to support your work. You will join a team committed to quality cleaning and safety.

Job description

Samsic UK is recruiting for a Permanent Part Time School Cleaning Operative to provide a professional facilities management service based inHandsworth, Birmingham.

The position is to work Monday to Friday4pm-6pm.

As per the necessities of this position, all successful applicants will require a UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) check to be conducted. By applying to this position, you acknowledge that this is a requirement of the job role.

Due to Safeguarding legislation KCSIE 2025 we will also need to undertake further online checks and seeking previous employee references in writing.

You will receive £13.03 per hour paid Monthly unless specified otherwise.

Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sanitary areas, emptying bins, mopping, disinfecting touch points, restocking soap/hand towels, and general cleaning.

About you

• You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service. You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
• Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.

The interview process will be a telephone conversation with one of our managers, and then a face-to-face interview for those selected. Dependent on having legitimate right to work in the UK and passing allvetting KCSIE 2025.
