Job summary

Anchor Group Services are recruiting two Cleaning Operatives to join the site cleaning team at Northminster House, Peterborough.

You will carry out cleaning tasks safely and to a high standard, with attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 17:00–19:00 (10 hours per week) at £13.45 per hour, with freedom to cover additional shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas to the site specification and instructions.
• Emptying bins and disposing of recycled waste correctly.
• Attend to spillages promptly to maintain site safety.
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• Use site equipment, machinery and handling chemicals.
• Interact with on-site clients, delivering superb customer service.
• Carry out any other reasonable management requests.

Job Role: Cleaning Operative

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for two experienced cleaners to join the site cleaning team in Northminster House in Peterborough.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service

• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
