Job summary

Anchor Group Services in Liverpool is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the team at St Johns Shopping Centre. The role requires full flexibility to cover mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and a pay rate of £13.00 per hour.

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential. You will carry out a range of cleaning tasks to a high standard and provide reliable, friendly service to staff and visitors.

Job Role: Cleaning Operative

Working Hours: 20hours per week, as per site rota

You must be fully flexible as this role requires you to work various shifts/hours (including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays). Additional hours will be available and you will be expected to provide additional support when required.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Location: St Johns Shopping Centre, St George's Place,Liverpool, L1 1LY

Reporting to: Soft Services Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity hasarisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join ourestablished team at St Johns Shopping Centre in Liverpool.

If you have previouscleaning experience and a positive can-do attitude, we would love to hear fromyou! Previous cleaning experience within a shopping centre/retail environmentis desirable but not necessary.

The successful candidateswill be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely andprofessionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate goodattention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

This is a fullyflexible role, and you must be able to commit to working a variety of shift times including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required. Although this position is contracted to a minimum of 20 hours per week, you may be required to work additional hours to support the needs of the business. Reliable transport is required as early morning shifts start as early as 6am.

Duties include:

• Patrollingthe centre, remaining vigilant at all times to ensure any litter isremoved.
  
• Emptyingof bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
  
• Assistingwith preventing any site accidents by clearing any spills within anefficient time, ensuring the safety of centre staff and the public
  
• Remainingflexible to cover duties
  
• Contributingto team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  
• Actingas a first line support to customers and visitors on site, providing aprofessional and friendly service
  
• ServiceRoad duties as and when required
  
• Understandingthe needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries andrequests and take appropriate action
  
• Maintainingprofessional conduct at all times
