Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking a Cleaning Operative for Meridian Shopping Centre in Havant. The role involves cleaning designated areas to the specified standard, with a focus on safety and customer service.

You must cover shifts as needed and demonstrate attention to detail and reliable, proactive work habits. The position runs 10 hours per week on Tuesdays and Fridays, at £12.88 per hour, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas according to the site specification.

• Operate site equipment and handle chemicals as directed.
• Interact with on-site clients and provide quality service.
• Carry out other reasonable management requests.

Job Role:Cleaning Operative

Working Hours: 10 hours per week (Tuesday & Friday - 5 hours per day)

Pay:£12.88 per hour

Location:Meridian Shopping Centre, Elm Lane, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 1UN

Reporting to:Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team at Meridian Shopping Centre.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions


• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly


• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety


• Following H&S and COSHH regulations


• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals


• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service

• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
