Job summary

Anchor Group Services in Peterborough is looking for two experienced cleaners to join the site cleaning team at Northminster House. You will carry out a range of cleaning tasks safely and professionally, to a high standard, with good attention to detail and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 17:00–19:00, totaling 10 hours per week. Pay is £13.45 per hour. The role includes access to Anchor Academy courses, Cycle to Work, a pension, and other employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with COSHH and site safety procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexibility to cover shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas to the site specification.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
• Attend to spillages promptly to maintain safety.
• Follow H&S and COSHH regulations.
• Operate site equipment and handle chemicals safely.
• Interact with on-site clients, providing good service.
• Carry out other reasonable management requests.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for two experienced cleaners to join the site cleaning team in at Northminster House in Peterborough.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
  
• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
  
• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
  
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
  
• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
  
• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service

• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
