Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative based at HSC – Leadership Court, Belfast. This part-time role offers 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 13:00 to 16:00, delivering high standards of cleaning across offices and facilities.

You will be customer-focused, detail-oriented and follow health, safety and hygiene standards. NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning would be advantageous, and basic training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Basic statutory training to understand safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility.
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out duties professionally.
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets, site wide.
• Ensuring stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility.
• Follow company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets, site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all regulations as necessary
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
