Job summary

Elior is seeking a Cleaning Manager to oversee high-quality cleaning services across designated sites in the UK. You will lead cleaning teams, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain service excellence through effective planning, supervision, and communication.

You will manage recruitment, training, rosters, and performance, ensuring standards meet contractual, hygiene, and quality requirements. Excellent organisation and stakeholder liaison are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of cleaning practices, chemicals, and equipment.
• Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills with staff and clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cleaning staff, including recruitment, training, rotas, and performance.
• Ensure all cleaning services meet contractual, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high service levels.
• Manage stock levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety, COSHH, and other relevant regulations.
• Liaise with clients, facilities teams, and suppliers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Keep accurate records of staff attendance, training, and site reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

What you’ll be doing…

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, some weekend working required - 8am - 4:30pm
