Job summary

Elior at work in Wethersfield is seeking a Cleaning Manager to oversee high-quality cleaning across sites. You will manage cleaning teams, ensure health and safety standards, and maintain service excellence through planning, supervision, and strong communication.

The role requires leadership experience in cleaning supervision, knowledge of cleaning practices and COSHH, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. Monday–Friday with some weekend work; 8am–4:30pm; job ID 7014.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cleaning staff, including recruitment, training, rotas, and performance.
• Ensure all cleaning services meet contractual, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high service levels.
• Manage stock levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety, COSHH, and other relevant regulations.
• Liaise with clients, facilities teams, and suppliers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Keep accurate records of staff attendance, training, and site reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

What you’ll be doing…
