VanRath in Belfast seeks a Cleaning Manager for the night shift to lead cleaning operations across multiple sites. You will manage induction, training, performance, and safety, while ensuring client satisfaction and smooth cover arrangements.

The role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and IT literacy with HR/payroll systems. A full driving licence and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in the cleaning industry across multiple sectors.
• Strong IT skills including HR systems, payroll, and audit tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills with client focus.
• Financial acumen with budget management experience.
• Health & Safety knowledge and basic statutory training.
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff induction and training, ensuring compliance and retraining needs.
• Manage staff performance and disciplinary issues per company policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Address client queries promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and cover arrangements.
• Identify operational improvements to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct regular meetings with Operations Managers and report KPI data to clients.
