Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting for a public-facing cleaning team member. You will be responsible for keeping offices clean to a high standard, operating cleaning equipment, and taking part in training activities. You will also cover for colleagues during absences and interact with internal and external customers.

Job description

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.

Being used to working within a team and on your own initiative, you will be flexible and take pride in your work and willing to undertake training as required. Experience of cleaning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Joining our team, you'll take responsibility for ensuring our offices are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. You'll be operating, undertake training activities, carry out basic cleaning duties and cover for colleagues during absences.
