Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is hiring a Cleaner for Rugby Library. The role is 11.75 hours per week, permanent, with shifts: Mon–Fri 8am–10am and Sat 8am–9:45am; salary £13.28 per hour. You will clean, operate equipment, and cover for colleagues while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Training will be provided, and you will work with internal and external customers while adhering to COSHH regulations. This is a local government role based in Rugby.

About Us and The Team

Joining our team, you'll take responsibility for ensuring our offices are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. You'll be operating, undertake training activities,carry out basic cleaning duties and cover for colleagues duringabsences. In addition, you'll be working with internal and external customers and be fully compliant with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.

Key Requirements

Being used to working within a team and on your own initiative, you will be flexible and take pride in your work and willing to undertake training as required. Experience of cleaning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
