Job summary

Arcus Cleaning Area Mobile Support in Melksham is recruiting for an Area Support Manager. This permanent, 36-hour-a-week role pays £14.71 per hour with overtime opportunities. You will supervise cleaning teams and coordinate service delivery for Sainsbury’s stores.

Key duties include allocating tasks, attending stores on occasion to cover duties, and ensuring safety standards and paperwork are maintained. Training and development are provided.

Responsibilities

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit an Area Support Manager in the Melksham area on a permanent basis for 36 hours per week with a rate of 14.71 per hour with overtime opportunities.

About the Job

Arcus Cleaning Area Mobile Support take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers, working alongside Area Managers. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• To allocate tasks and responsibilities to the team and take the necessary steps to ensure the specified service is delivered
• In the event of absence or being short staffed, attend stores to support with all cleaning duties – this is a hands-on role.
• Ensuring all employees are well presented and ambassadors of the Arcus values & behaviours
• HR – Conducting investigation meetings / welfare meetings and other related HR issues - in line with company Policy and Procedures.
• To liaise daily with key clients and be proactive in resolving difficulties in order to build and maintain good working relationships
• Attend meetings as required by the Area Operations Manager to assist in effective communications with both management and service user
• Carry out regular meetings with direct reports to assist in effective two-way communication and to communicate the company’s aims and objectives to colleagues
• To ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Carry out appropriate induction of new colleagues maintaining close contact throughout their probationary period to ensure full support and the required standards and productivity are achieved
• To ensure that the Arcus Health and Safety policy is operated at all times including Safe Systems of Work, COSHH Regulations, PPE compliance and any other related systems of work
