Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Weymouth. The role is fixed-term until February 2027, offering 18 hours per week at £12.71 per hour. Immediate start available.

Shifts include early morning blocks with some weekend work, and overtime opportunities may increase hours. Cleaners will perform daily tasks to maintain top standards of cleanliness and safety in-store, with training provided by Arcus.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• NFC-capable smartphone required to access Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform cleaning tasks to high standards.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as needed.
• Keep trolley bays free of leaves and debris and ensure areas are tidy.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Weymouth store on a fixed term basis until February 2027. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 05:00 to 08:00

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: 05:00 to 08:00

Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00

Friday: 05:00 to 08:00

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
