Job summary

Bexhill College is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our team, helping to keep a clean and welcoming environment for students to thrive in.

Shifts are early mornings and late afternoons (7:00–9:00 and 16:30–18:30), part-time during term time with fifteen extra days for spring cleaning. Successful candidates will undergo safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate, with interviews possibly held before the closing date.

Qualifications

• Hardworking and reliable cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Safeguarding checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the college.
• Work as part of the cleaning team during scheduled hours to support student experience.

Join our cleaning team and make a difference to our students experience every day. We have opportunities for committed individuals to join our dynamic and dedicated cleaning team who play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the college.

We have opportunities for a cleaner to work 20 hrs a week from 7.00am – 9.00am and 4.30pm – 6.30pm. This role could be spilit into two 10 hour roles. Please specify your preference in your letter of application.

This is a part time, term time only role with fifteen additional days in the holidays to cover spring cleaning.

The College reserves the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date if a suitable applicant applies.

Successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College. If you do not hold one, this will be applied for after interview if successful.
