Job summary

USP College is seeking a part-time cleaner to maintain the high cleanliness standards of our Seevic campus. Duties include emptying bins, hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets and shower areas to keep facilities welcoming for students and staff.

The successful candidate will work with initiative, be reliable and adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring designated areas remain safe, clean and hygienic at all times.

• Previous experience in cleaning.
• Must be able to work with own initiative.
• Must be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure designated areas of work are left in a safe, clean and hygienic condition.
• Manual cleaning is undertaken in accordance with service best practice methods
• Manual cleaning tasks inclusive of but not limited to mopping, hoovering, wet wipe, dusting, polishing and changing waste bins.
• Appropriate use of cleaning products/materials (as trained), handheld and powered equipment required to complete cleaning tasks
• Maintain required standards of Health and Safety at all times for self, colleagues and others

Cleaning duties will involve, emptying bins, hoovering, sweeping & mopping floors, wiping down and disinfecting hard surfaces as well as cleaning toilets & shower area.
