Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a reliable school cleaner to join the Rhosnesni High School site team. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key tasks include cleaning classrooms and communal areas, bin disposal, and safe handling of cleaning supplies. Training is provided, and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but training will be provided.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub (machine operation) and dust designated areas.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
• Report any maintenance concerns or health and safety issues.
• Follow school cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.

Rhosnesni High School is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and conscientious school cleaner to join our friendly site team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing (machine operation) and dusting designated areas.
• Ensuring cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
• Reporting any maintenance concerns or health and safety issues.
• Following school cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
• We are looking for someone who:
  • Takes pride in their work and has high standards of cleanliness.
  • Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Has a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided).
