Job summary

Sprowston Community Academy, Cannerby Lane, Sprowston, Norwich, NR7 8NE, invites applications for a Cleaner (Maternity Cover). The role is 15 hours per week, term time plus four weeks, Monday to Friday 3.30pm–6.30pm.

You will help maintain a clean and safe school environment, including polishing, bin-emptying and replenishing consumables. The Trust offers a range of benefits and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a school setting preferred.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.

We are currently looking to expand our permanent cleaning team at Sprowston Community Academy. If you are enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and conscientious and would like to join our estates team as a cleaner then please read on. We are seeking individuals who will take responsibility for ensuring the school building and facilities are clean, tidy and well maintained to a high standard at all times. Duties include polishing, emptying bins, cleaning floors and ensuring dispensers and cleaning consumables are replenished and available. Successful applicants are likely to be approachable, professional and reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a busy team.
