Overview

Quarters Brighton is a late-night live music & club venue on the seafront. We’re building a dependable housekeeping team to keep the venue clean, safe and ready for every show.

What you’ll do

During shows

• Regular toilet checks and restocking
• Quick response to spills and breakages (including broken-glass sweeps)
• Light touch-point wipe-downs (bar fronts, handrails, door plates)
• Bin runs to back-of-house; keep welfare areas tidy and hazard-free
• Communicate with Control/Duty Manager for rapid fixes and replenishment

After shows

• Full reset of venue spaces: bars, dancefloor/live room, corridors, toilets
• Sweep, mop, vacuum; wipe surfaces and mirrors; restock consumables
• Segregate waste/recycling and move safely to external bins
• Complete checklists and hand back clean, secure spaces for the next event
• Daytime deep cleans (as scheduled)
• Periodic deep cleans of toilets, bars and back-of-house areas
• Detail work (edges, high/low touch points, glass/stainless, skirtings)
• Support periodic tasks (chewing gum removal, limescale, walls/doors)
• COSHH-compliant use of products and correct PPE

About you

• Collaborative, with a calm, positive demeanour and strong work ethic
• Reliable and organised, with good attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling and long periods on your feet
• Able to work late nights/early mornings and most weekends
• Right to work in the UK (evidence required)
• Venue/event cleaning experience helpful but not essential — training provided
