Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a part-time cleaner for Kings Lynn Library. You will carry out basic cleaning duties, maintain hygiene standards, and build strong on-site relationships with the client.

Hours: Mon-Thu 7pm–10pm, Fri 7pm–11:30pm. Pay: £12.71 per hour. We offer uniform, DBS on completion of 6 months, 20 days annual leave + bank holidays pro-rata, ongoing training, discounts, and potential overtime with enhanced weekend rates.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication and on-site relationship skills.

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship with Kings Lynn Library we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any issues or defects on site

Our Successful Candidate

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable
