Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a seasonal cleaning role at Newquay Bay Resort, Cornwall. You’ll clean and prepare guest accommodation to the highest standards, changing beds, vacuuming, dusting and deep cleaning living spaces to ensure guests have a fantastic stay.

Join a dynamic team and help deliver memorable holidays. Training is provided, with plenty of opportunities and holiday shifts, including bank holidays, in a friendly, value‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Have an awareness of what clean means, with attention to detail and pride in a job well-done.
• Be friendly and helpful to guests and communicate well within the team.
• Open to learning; experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest accommodation to high standards, then exceed expectations.
• Change bed linen, vacuum, dust and thoroughly clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
• Work as part of the holiday team and help beyond your role, including bank holidays.

Salary:£12.71 per hour - Paid weekly!

What you will be doing

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be cleaning and preparing guest accommodation to our high, high standards - and then a little bit higher! This includes changing beds, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Always with the aim of making your contribution to someone’s holiday count every bit as much as the food they eat and the fun they have.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you're happy to help even when it's "not your job," you're our sort of person.

One more thing... holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need

We'll provide training, but you must:

• Have an awareness of what clean means - which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done
• Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
• Be open to learning - experience isn't as important as eagerness to learn
