Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper for Whitehill Secondary School in Glasgow, within Onslow Dr, Glasgow G31 2QF.

Hourly rate of £13.51 and 15 hours per week are offered, with a 06:00am–09:00am shift from Monday to Friday. You will deliver cleaning services across the school, manage consumables, and operate machinery safely to maintain a high-quality environment for students and staff.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our Glasgow Schools account in Whitehill Secondary School, 280 Onslow Dr, Glasgow G31 2QF.

£13.51 per hour

15 Hours per week (Shist pattern 06:00am to 09:00am Monday to Friday)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What you will do:

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high‑quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
