Job summary

Norse Group seeks a part-time Cleaner for Holy Rood Primary School, term-time only. Working 12.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–6:00pm, at Holy Rood Primary School in Barnsley. Rate: £12.71 per hour. An enhanced DBS check is required. Full training and benefits available.

Role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, health and safety compliance, and building strong on-site client relationships with independence and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or caretaking.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on-site.
• Ability to work independently with good organisation.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms: dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming.
• Empty bins, clean restrooms, and restock sanitising stations.
• Build relationships with on-site clients.
• Follow health and safety at all times.
• Report defects or damages.

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Cleaner at Holy Rood Primary School - Term time Only

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You’ll be working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 6:00pm.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
