Job summary

Arriva Midlands Limited is seeking a dedicated cleaner for their Thurmaston depot, offering a full time contract at £13.85 per hour for 39 hours a week. The role includes maintaining cleanliness throughout the workshop, cleaning vehicles, and assisting as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including fitness for a PCV licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the workshop.
• Cleaning vehicles to Arriva standards and maintaining accurate records.
• Assisting the storekeeper when required.
• Keeping the fuelling area clear of hazards and clean at all times.
• Performing daily sweeping and mopping, with occasional deep interior cleans.
• Complying with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Shift Details

Full time contract, working 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 Between the hours of 17:00 - 02:00

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A full UK driving licence (manual, with no more than 6 points)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including fitness for a PCV licence
