Job summary

Arriva Midlands North Limited is seeking a Cleaner Fueller Shunter to join our workshop team. You will keep workshop areas clean, tidy and safe, fuel vehicles for the next day’s service, and maintain fuel records in line with Arriva standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience would be advantageous; full training will be provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Team worker.
• Full UK driving licence (Manual, 6 points or less).
• Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workshop areas are clean, tidy and organised.
• Clean vehicles to Arriva standards and maintain records.
• Refuel vehicle fleet in readiness for next day’s service.
• Keep fuelling area clean and hazards removed before work.
• Daily sweeping and mopping with occasional deep interior cleans.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and company procedures.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all areas of the workshop are clean, tidy and organised.
• Clean vehicles to comply with Arriva standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly.
• Re-fuel vehicle fleet in readiness for the next days’ service.
• Ensure the fuelling area is clean and any hazards are removed prior to work.
• Carry out daily sweep and mop with deep interior cleans occasionally.
• To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating health & safety and working practices and all company working policies and procedures.
