Job summary

Norse Group's Norse Cleaning Division is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to support Charles Darwin Academy in Norwich. The role offers 10 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 17:00–19:00, paid £12.71 per hour, with flexible patterns and potential overtime.

You will carry out basic cleaning duties, maintain high standards, build on-site relationships with the client, perform routine checks and report issues, with opportunities for training and industry qualifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship with Charles Darwin Academy and we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis, you'll be required to work 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday17:00-19:00.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any issues or defects on site

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable
