Job summary

South West Norse is seeking a Cleaner to work part-time at Charles Darwin Academy in Norwich. The role requires 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 17:00–19:00, with pay of £12.71 per hour.

You will perform basic cleaning tasks and ensure high standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction on-site. Knowledge of site health & safety, strong communication, and the ability to work independently are essential, with commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build on-site client relationships.
• Able to work independently with initiative.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience desirable.

£12.71 Per hour Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship with Charles Darwin Academy and we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis, you'll be required to work 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday 17:00-19:00.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any issues or defects on site

Our Successful Candidate

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable
