Job summary

Cormac is offering a Cleaner role at The Library, Callington. You will undertake all aspects of site cleaning using manual and power equipment as needed and will work 5 hours per week.

You will be a reliable cleaner who takes pride in your work, providing an excellent service to the site and its users by cleaning all communal areas and WCs. The package includes a permanent contract, an annual salary of £13.45 per hour, and benefits such as a generous pension, cycle-to-work and training

Qualifications

• Cleaners should be reliable and take pride in their work.
• Able to operate manual and power cleaning equipment.
• Willing to undertake in-house training and follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas and WCs to site specifications.
• Use cleaning equipment and carry out manual cleaning, including emptying bins.
• Maintain cleanliness of paths, steps and outside hard surfaces; remove graffiti as directed.

About the role

We have a great opportunity for you to join ourteam as a Cleaner at The Library, Callington. Within the role, you will undertake all aspects of site cleaning (using manual and power operated equipment as needed) and will work 5 hours per week.

You should be a reliable cleaner who takes pride in theirwork, providing an excellent service to the site and its users by cleaning all communal areas, WC's etc.

You will be undertaking the following duties -

• using appropriate powered cleaning equipment, as well as undertaking manual cleaning, in accordance with site specifications (including theemptying of bins)
• keeping paths, steps and outside hard surface areastidy
• removinggraffiti as directed
• to carry out other extra or general duties as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor/ Manager in accordance with the site specification(as may be necessary from time to time)

You will be required to undertake in-house training upon induction with any additional training as and when required.

You will also work at all times within the code of requirements set out in the Health and Safety at Work Act.
