Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Ambleside is seeking a Part-time Cleaner to deliver excellent service, meet SLAs and follow cleaning schedules at the Co Op site.

This permanent, part-time role offers £13.00 per hour for 12.5 hours weekly. You’ll work in a small team with training on health and safety, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
