Job summary

King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy is seeking a part-time cleaner to work under the Cleaning Supervisor (or Caretaker). You will contribute as an individual or a team member in cleaning the designated areas of the school to provide a clean and pleasant environment that supports effective teaching and safe use by staff and pupils.

Hours are 15 per week and negotiable. The role focuses on maintaining the fabric of the building and preventing health risks through proper cleanliness in a school

Job description

To work under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor (or Caretaker), either as an individual or as part of a team, in the cleaning of the designated area of work within the school.

To provide a clean and pleasant environment in order to facilitate the effective teaching of pupils and its full use by those staff and pupils who occupy it.

To help maintain the fabric of school building.

To maintain cleanliness in order to prevent any health risk from occurring in schools

15 hours per week - Hours negotiable.
