Job description

CLEANER

Gi Group are currently looking for a Cleaner to join our client based in Swansea. Hours of work: 09:00-14:00. Days of work: Various. Duration: Adhoc.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas within the client's student accommodation, including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, and all white goods contained in the kitchens.
• Vacuuming, spot cleaning and shampooing carpets, sweeping and polishing floors, and cleaning stairs.
• Washing walls, doors, furniture, radiators, lampshades as appropriate.
• Emptying waste bins and removing rubbish from flats to bin store areas.
• During the summer season only: Making beds, including stripping and changing sheeting, collecting laundered linen from store, and bagging/packing laundry for collection.
• Cleaning internal and external windows, where applicable.
• Cleaning and washing glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils, as appropriate.
• Daily liaison with residents, Residence Managers, and associated staff from the client.
• Acting in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices at all times.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in cleaning within a similar environment, strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent service. You should also be prepared to work (with notice) at other sites if required and take on additional hours when needed, especially during main student arrival and departure weekends.
