Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School requires a cleaner for the mornings, 6.00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m., 10 hours per week. The role includes extra cleaning during holidays and will be paid at £13.46 per hour with a fixed monthly salary across the year.

Candidate should work well in a team and independently under the Site Team Manager, with a high standard of effort and reliability. Health and safety and COSHH compliance are essential requirements for this post.

Job description

CLEANER required w/c 2 November 2026 preferably £13.46 per hour

There is one shift available mornings 6.00 a.m. - 8.00 a.m.

Total hours 10 hours per week

This job will require extra holiday hours cleaning which includes two weeks during the summer, one week at Easter and one week in February for deep cleaning of the school site. This means that this job receives a fixed monthly salary across the year.

We are looking for someone who:

Has the ability to work within a team and independently under direction the Site Team Manager

Has high expectations of themselves.

Is hardworking and committed to providing an excellent cleaning service.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential

We will offer you:

You will need to be able to operate our cleaning equipment, understand the importance of following Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
