Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cleaning Operative for Clarks Village, Street, Somerset. You will join a professional team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for shoppers and retailers across the centre.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering £13.45 per hour, 40 hours per week, with a 5 days over 7 shift pattern. Training and development are provided to help you succeed in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the shopping centre
• Carrying out routine cleaning and sanitisation tasks
• Waste management and recycling activities
• Operating cleaning machinery and equipment safely
• Completing daily patrols and inspections, responding to spillages and urgent cleaning requirements
• Supporting seasonal events and peak trading periods
• Delivering excellent customer service to visitors and retailers
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company standards
