• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the shopping centre
• Carrying out routine cleaning and sanitisation tasks
• Waste management and recycling activities
• Operating cleaning machinery and equipment safely
• Completing daily patrols and inspections
• Responding to spillages and urgent cleaning requirements
• Supporting seasonal events and peak trading periods
• Delivering excellent customer service to visitors and retailers
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company standards

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Cleaning Operative, you'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards expected across the centre.

• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the shopping centre
• Carrying out routine cleaning and sanitisation tasks
• Waste management and recycling activities
• Operating cleaning machinery and equipment safely
• Completing daily patrols and inspections
• Responding to spillages and urgent cleaning requirements
• Supporting seasonal events and peak trading periods
• Delivering excellent customer service to visitors and retailers
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

• Be punctual and dependable

• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Be able to work independently and within a team
• Communicate effectively in English
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Be willing to undertake training and development

Previous Experience

Previous Cleaning Experience Is Desirable But Not Essential.
