Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in York is seeking a part-time Cleaner to deliver high cleaning standards in line with SLA agreements and schedules. The role is permanent, paying £13.50 per hour for 10 hours per week at a Co Op location in Copmanthorpe, York.

The ideal candidate will have basic English communication, be reliable, flexible and proactive, and able to work independently or in a team while upholding health and safety requirements.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible, proactive, reliable, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment clean, well maintained, and safe to use.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
