Job summary

Stoke City Football Club is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to support our day-to-day operations across the bet365 Stadium and training facilities. This permanent, year-round, full-time role is based primarily at the stadium with travel to other sites as needed.

You will join a busy, friendly team and receive full training, COSHH instruction, and opportunities to develop professional qualifications. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends for matchdays and events.

  • Complete cleaning duties to a high standard per schedules and policies.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of COSHH regulations and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Job description

Stoke City Football Club is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to support the day-to-day operations across our portfolio. This is a permanent, year-round, full-time position based primarily at the bet365 Stadium, with occasional requirements at the Clayton Wood Training Ground, the Academy Dome, and other facilities as needed. A company vehicle is available for you to use during travel between these sites, ensuring you have everything you need to complete your role.

Full training is provided for this role, including comprehensive instruction on COSHH regulations.

The successful candidate will be at the heart of the action, working with a busy, friendly team to maintain our stadium and hospitality areas to a high standard. As this is a football club, the role requires flexibility; you will be expected to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other ad-hoc events, making every day different.

Main responsibilities
  • Performing general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.

  • A full UK driving license is desirable.
