Stoke City Football Club is seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day operations across the Club's property portfolio. Based at the bet365 Stadium, you will also work at Clayton Wood Training Ground and other facilities as required.

You will ensure infrastructure is safe and capable of meeting the high-energy demands of a professional sporting organisation. The role involves maintenance, repair and upgrades of club properties and generation facilities,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across all Club properties.
  • Maintain and service generation facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with current health and safety regulations.
  • Provide electrical support for matchdays and events, including pre- and post-match requirements.
  • Collaborate with a busy team to address reactive maintenance and planned upgrades.

Job description

Stoke City Football Club is seeking a dedicated electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the day to day operations across the Club's extensive property portfolio. While based at the bet365 Stadium, the successful candidate will also work at other facilities as required, such as Clayton Wood Training Ground, the Academy indoor facility and the warehouses.

You will be at the heart of operations, ensuring infrastructure is safe, and capable of meeting the high-energy demands of a professional sporting organisation.

As part of a busy, collaborative team, the Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the Club’s properties and generation facilities. This role is vital in ensuring all premises remain fully compliant, while also providing essential electrical support for matchdays, including pre-match preparation and post-match requirements.

The position will be offered on a full time basis and requires a high degree of flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, hospitality events and match day fixtures as required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering comprehensive electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across all Club properties.
  • Maintaining and servicing the Club’s generation facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensuring all electrical installations and systems are fully compliant with current health and safety regulations.
  • Providing essential electrical support for matchdays and other events as required, including pre-match preparation and post-match requirements.
  • Working collaboratively within a busy team to resolve reactive maintenance issues and planned upgrades.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Fully qualified with a Level 3 technical certificate (e.g. City and Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
  • City and Guilds 2382 (BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations).
  • Completion of the AM2 exam.
  • City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing).
  • Full, clean driving licence is desirable.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
