Job summary

Greave Primary School in Stockport is seeking a part-time cleaner to support the cleaning supervisor. This 10-hour-per-week role runs Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6pm during term time, with a permanent contract and a start date of 1 September 2026.

Duties include cleaning, buffing, sweeping and vacuuming, plus other general cleaning tasks. Previous experience is an advantage but training will be provided. DBS clearance will be checked before appointment.

We have a vacancy for a cleaner to assist the cleaning supervisor in keeping the school’s premises clean and tidy on a daily basis. Duties will include cleaning, buffing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning and other general domestic cleaning duties.

Previous experience will be an advantage, but not essential; training will be given.

The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
