Job summary

Ark Alexandra Academy is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to join our hard-working team as we maintain two campuses. You will have your own dedicated area and access to online training for your role.

As part of the cleaning team you will create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors, upholding high standards of cleanliness. We require experience in school cleaning, attention to detail, and availability 3:30pm–6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning to a high standard, preferably in a school environment.
• Pay attention to detail and have a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work between 3.30pm - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday (exact timings will be discussed at interview).
• Take ownership of tasks and complete to a high standard.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Be able to manage a high‑volume workload & prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines.
• Have the ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Be flexible in covering other team members when required, even if it’s on the other campus.
