Job Information

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Main Duties

1. Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role effectively.
2. Work within a team and on own initiative.
3. Follow all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
4. Maintain the designated area to the agreed level of cleanliness, carrying out daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
5. Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
6. Keep all equipment clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.
7. Report any maintenance issues identified during cleaning tasks.
8. Maintain security by locking doors, following lost property procedures, etc.
9. Understand the cleaning area, work specifications, and time allocations.
10. Know all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals used.
11. Set a good example in dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.
12. Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns accordingly.
13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
14. Ensure contractors and visitors comply with security and safety policies.
15. Build positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent service and seeking improvements.
16. Perform any other duties within capability and business needs.
