Job summary

Hales Valley Trust is seeking a reliable Cleaner for Lutley Primary School to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff. This part-time role supports a busy school site with attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

You will work 15 hours per week on a permanent contract, join a supportive team, and benefit from a generous pension and ongoing training opportunities within our Trust.

Qualifications

  • Cleaners must maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the school site.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

The Role - Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our team. This is an important role within our school, helping to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment where pupils, staff and visitors can thrive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school site, ensuring all allocated areas are cleaned to the required standards and health and safety requirements. You will use a range of cleaning equipment and materials, replenish supplies as required, and help ensure our learning environment remains safe, hygienic and well-presented.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and is committed to contributing positively to our school community.

Whether you have previous cleaning experience or are looking to develop your skills in a supportive environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.

You will be on an All-Year Round contract working 15 hours per week on a Permanent Contract.
