Job summary

St Bernard's Catholic High School is seeking a reliable Cleaner to help maintain hygiene and cleanliness across designated areas of the school site.

You will work under the Caretaker/Facilities Supervisor, following instructions to clean specific zones, use cleaning materials safely, and operate vacuum cleaners and polishers as required to keep classrooms, corridors and communal areas tidy.

• Use cleaning materials and operate cleaning machinery (vacuum cleaners, polishers) safely and effectively.

Job description

You will take part in maintaining the cleaning of a designated area of the school

by:

Being responsible for cleaning certain parts of the school site as allocated by the Caretaker/Facilities Supervisor (this will vary from time to time)

Using cleaning materials as instructed by the Caretaker/Facilities Supervisor

Operating cleaning machinery in cleaning soft and hard surfaces e.g. vacuum cleaners and polishers
