Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaner at our Macclesfield site (SK10 2NA) to maintain cleanliness in break areas, kitchens, toilets and changing rooms within a clean room environment. You will follow SOPs, wear protective clothing, and sign off worksheets on shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning tasks on time and to high standards per SOPs.
• Wear protective clothing on shift as required; hair net in clean room.
• Maintain cleanliness in break areas, kitchens, toilets, showers and changing areas.
• Sign off worksheets in line with company procedure.
• Order consumable products and complete monthly stock takes.
• Champion health and safety practices and report hazards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond professionally to queries.

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday 12pm - 8pm, Friday 11am-7pm
• £13.45 per hour

What you'll do:

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard following SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
• You will be required to wear appropriate protective clothing on shift as required by site. This will be provided and includes items such as a hair net (due to this being a clean room environment)
• Maintain cleanliness in break out areas, kitchens, toilets, shower and changing areas in a clean room environment, communal areas and corridors, ensuring a sterile hygiene environment.
• Complete and sign off your worksheets in line with company procedure
• Ordering of consumable products
• Complete monthly stock takes
• Champion health and safety practices, conducting regular safety checks and reporting hazards
• Deliver excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns professionally
• Use of cleaning equipment, such as buffers, will be required
