Job summary

Edsential Community Interest Company is recruiting for a part-time cleaner at Town Lane Infant School, Bebington, Wirral. Hours are 12.5 per week, with shifts 3:15 pm–5:15 pm, Monday to Friday, at Town Lane Infant School.

The role covers general cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, litter bin emptying, polishing and dusting, and use of powered equipment where applicable. Experience is desirable, and safeguarding awareness is encouraged. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

  • Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable but not essential
  • NVQ in Cleaning is desirable
  • Knowledge of Cross Contamination in a cleaning environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work alone and as a team
  • Awareness of safeguarding of children and young people is desirable but not essential

Shift Hours: 3.15 pm - 5.15 pm Monday - Friday

If successful, you will be required to undertake the following dutieswithin all designated areas:


  • General cleaning

  • Sweeping

  • Vacuum cleaning

  • Emptying litter bins

  • Polishing and dusting

  • Use of powered equipment where applicable


What do we require from you?


  • Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable but not essential
