Job summary

Sodexo in Bury is looking for a friendly part-time Cleaner to help keep our site clean, safe and welcoming. You will work as part of a supportive team, completing cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, offices and toilets.

You'll follow health and safety procedures, maintain supplies and be willing to train for BPSS checks. This role suits someone with pride in their work, good communication, reliability and the ability to work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role is desirable.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken.
• Reliable and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep site clean across kitchens, meeting rooms, offices, toilets and other areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Top up essential supplies (toilet roll, soap, sanitiser, wipes).
• Follow health and safety procedures including COSHH and PPE usage.
• Report hazards or faults to Line Manager and work safely.

You'llplay an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite, working as part of a supportive team. This is a great opportunity forsomeone who takes pride in their work, has a great eye for detail and islooking for a reliable part-time role. What you'll do:

• Keep our site looking its best by completing scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, offices, toilets and other areas.
• Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the site.
• Keep essential supplies topped up, including toilet roll, blue roll, hand soap, sanitiser and hand wipes.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including COSHH, infection control, security requirements and the correct use of PPE.
• Work safely and responsibly, reporting any hazards, safety concerns, faulty equipment or other issues to your Line Manager.
• Have a flexible approach to your role, supporting other areas of the site and providing cover for holidays and absence when required.
• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or facilities role, ideally within a corporate office environment.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• A reliable and proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and working in line with relevant data protection and security requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards at all times.
• Willingness to complete any training required for the role, including first aid and security awareness, and to successfully complete the required BPSS security checks.
