Job summary

Dovery Academy is seeking an evening cleaner to join our facilities team. The role involves cleaning and maintaining designated areas after school hours during term time, 16:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with inset days included and bank holidays excluded.

The successful candidate will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, toilet sanitisation and waste management, while adhering to health and safety regulations and school policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc)
• Empty waste bins
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Clean & Sanitise all toilets
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

This position is responsible for the cleaning of Dovery Academy, to undertake the evening cleaning 10 hours per week from 16:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday during school term time only, including inset days, excluding any bank holidays that fall within term time.
