Job summary

Offices and accommodation cleaning role with Sodexo. You’ll keep spaces clean, safe and welcoming, following daily, weekly and periodic tasks and maintaining high standards.

Full training provided; Monday to Friday hours in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include bed-making, laundry assistance, stock replenishment and proper storage of cleaning materials, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and COSHH compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of scheduled cleaning tasks across offices, accommodation and associated areas, ensuring every space is maintained to a high standard.
• Take pride in keeping all areas clean, safe and welcoming, completing daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks as required.
• Make and change beds when required, assist with laundry duties and help ensure accommodation areas are well presented.
• Keep an eye on stock levels and replenish essentials such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls, making sure cleaning materials and equipment are stored correctly.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisor, communicating any issues, defects or additional requirements that need attention.
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times, using cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and reporting any potential hazards or concerns promptly.

You'll play an important part in keeping our offices, accommodation and surrounding areas clean, comfortable and welcoming for everyone who uses them.   Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential as full training and induction will be provided.

• A flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing tasks while maintaining high standards.
• A good eye for detail and pride in keeping areas clean, tidy and well presented.
• A reliable team player who can follow guidance, work independently when needed and support colleagues to get the job done.
