Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Early Morning Weekend Cleaner in Birmingham. This part-time role offers 5 hours weekly, from 7:00am to 9:30am on Saturdays and Sundays, at £12.71 per hour. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across offices, kitchens, meeting rooms, and washrooms.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a professional office environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of data protection and handling confidential information.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Willing to complete any required training, including first aid and security awareness.
• Happy to undergo BPSS security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning across offices, kitchens, meeting rooms, washrooms, and other site areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the site.
• Replenish essential consumables, including soap, toilet roll, hand sanitiser, and paper products.
• Follow all health and safety, infection control, security, and COSHH procedures.
• Wear the appropriate PPE and complete all required training.
• Report any maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or health and safety concerns to your Line Manager.
• Work flexibly to support colleagues by covering different areas of the site and providing holiday and absence cover when required.
• Take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers.
